Semi-private strength coaching · Newington, NH
Your own strength program. Coaching as you progress.
You may know you want to get stronger and still be unsure where to start, which exercises fit you, or how to keep progressing.
At Great Bay Strength & Conditioning, semi-private coaching gives you an individualized program and coaching during your 60-minute sessions, with other members training alongside you.
Tell us your goals and the times you could train. We’ll help you decide whether this is a good fit.
A plan that starts with you
Semi-private may fit you if you want more individual programming than a shared group class, are returning to strength training, or want guidance on how to progress.
- Your starting point matters. Talk with your coach about your training background, goals, and any movements you find difficult.
- You can ask questions. Discuss exercise alternatives and when you are ready for a new challenge.
- You train alongside other members. You follow your own program while sharing coaching time and the training space.

A member’s experience
Strength for life outside the gym
Marc wanted a gym where coaches knew his starting point and members connected with each other. For him, progress became tangible while building a fence for a friend and noticing how much better he handled the work.
“I really like the ability to discuss with the trainers any issues I am having, alternative exercises, and when I am ready to try more complex or challenging exercises.”
Marc, GBSC member

Do I need to be fit before I start?
You do not need to arrive with a perfect routine or years of lifting experience. Tell us about your starting point so we can discuss whether semi-private coaching fits your needs.
Is this one-on-one personal training?
No. You have individualized programming, but other members train alongside you and share coaching time. If you need continuous one-on-one attention, discuss that with Eric before joining.
How many sessions should I choose?
Start with the number you can realistically attend and what else you do for exercise. Eric can help you compare the 4-, 8-, and 12-session options against your goals and schedule.
Which session times are available?
Sessions run Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 7:30 am; Tuesday and Thursday at 12:00 pm; and Monday, Tuesday and Thursday at 3:30 pm. Each session is 60 minutes. Ask Eric to confirm space in your preferred time.
Does the $99 introductory group offer include semi-private?
No. The introductory group offer and semi-private coaching are separate options. Semi-private pricing is shown above.
What if I need to cancel my membership?
Contact Eric when you need to cancel. No advance notice period is required. Early cancellation ends your remaining financial obligation, including any remaining months of a longer membership commitment.
Can I combine semi-private with group training?
Ask Eric about the combination that fits your week. Group membership is separate from the semi-private session plans shown here.
You don’t need to arrive with a perfect plan.
Tell Eric what you want to work toward and when you could train. We’ll talk through the next step together.
